The Certified Intelligence Professional (CIP) certification is the most comprehensive professional certification available for the competitive and strategic analyst. It is offered jointly by the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence (ACI) and the Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) society.
It is the only program authorized by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training (IACET), the leading external accreditation body in continuing education, to offer continuing education units (CEUs) in competitive and strategic analysis. The IACET accredits such learning institutions as the American Society for Quality, Bell Leadership, the Center for Professional Advancement, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Council of Education in Management, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
The program focuses on legal, ethical, and fully-compliant methods of data collection as well as advanced techniques for interpretation, analysis, and understanding. The hands-on training exercises are rigorous and mimic real-world dynamics and conditions.
